Audiophile.fm was built for those who care deeply about sound — listeners who seek out the warm richness of CD-quality and Hi-Res streams in lossless FLAC format. Today, we’re taking that experience one step further with a brand new feature: Lyrics.
Whether you’re listening to your favorite internet radio station or discovering a new artist, lyrics can now accompany your listening journey.
While playing any station, simply click the Lyrics tab. If lyrics are available for the currently playing track, they’ll appear automatically—timestamped when possible, or as plain text when not.

On mobile, lyrics are tucked neatly into the player modal. Just swipe right on the album artwork to reveal the lyrics panel. It’s designed to feel natural and distraction-free—just like the rest of Audiophile.fm.

There are two types of lyrics available on Audiophile.fm: timestamped and plain.
Most of the lyrics you’ll see are timestamped, meaning they can be synced line-by-line with the currently playing song. Since we’re streaming live internet radio, we don’t know exactly when each song started—so you need to manually sync the lyrics by simply clicking or tapping on the line where the song currently is. From that moment, the lyrics will scroll and highlight automatically in time with the music.
Occasionally, you may come across plain lyrics, which aren’t timestamped. These are still useful for reading along, but you’ll need to scroll manually at your own pace.
No matter the type, lyrics are updated automatically whenever a new song starts playing. If lyrics are available, they’ll appear immediately—without needing to refresh or interact.
We believe that lyrics are more than just words — they deepen the connection to the music, especially when paired with the audio clarity of lossless quality streams.
We’re just getting started. More enhancements are coming soon to make your lossless internet radio experience even better. Got feedback or ideas? Drop us a message or join our subreddit, Facebook page, or Telegram channel and let us know.
🔊 Happy listening — in lossless.
